Charisma Boots by Lila Tueller!

Are these cute or what? This is the Charisma Boot by Lila Tueller! She is a darling girl with fun upbeat patterns for bags, skirts, quilts, you name it she has a pattern for it! I have had the craziest week and a half and really can't wait for the excitement to stop! So, to start our pool had a leakage problem (I had to miss Market, boo-hoo for me), the Holiday Shop started yesterday (Wednesday) and, I must say I was quite prepared for the onslaught of shop~hoppers, When the phone rings.....its the high school telling me Parker has been hurt and needs to be picked up, in a panick and a line of customers, I call Shelby and ask her to pick up Parker, she brings him to the shop, bloodied, swollen, and loopy. I am not a good emergency person, (I am rather highstrung to say the least!) I realize this is serious as his front teeth are facing towards his tonsils ewww! I call Tom and he is on a conference call, so Shelby takes him to Dr. Noorda's (the Dentist) who I might add fit him right in and has the most amazing staff! I rush up and they are putting a splint on his front teeth, they finish him up and he can't seem to remember anything that happened....., oh no! I call Tom and tell him we need to go to the Emergency room......,5 hours later a moderate/to severe concussion we are home and healing! Okay, sorry for the long winded post, but I do want to tell all of my friends and customers you guys are awesome! thanks for all your caring and support (and the bread Laura!)

Holiday Shop Hop!!

Gas up the car, stop at the ATM, fill the 42 oz. and your ready for the "Holiday Shop Hop" It starts Wednesday October 14~Saturday Oct 17. Ladies this is the party to attend! Oh yea, every body who is somebody is gonna be there! You don't want to miss this~ games, prizes, food and FUN!!!! We will have lots of new models up and lots of SALE!! and some really great prizes. Tutorial: Sew a pair of ballet slippers

How cute are these? Shelby has been looking for a gift to give her friends and we came across this tutorial. It is awesome! I am in the process of making a pair to show in the shop! Hopefully I can have them done this week! Since I have to make several pair before Christmas I better get busy!

Market or Bust?!

Okay, your asking yourselves where are the Market posts? Well, the market or bust~busted! thats right I am not there! Our pool (which I might add holds 35,000 gallons of water) decided to leak into our backyard and take the pool cover with it! I really am wanting to backhoe the thing full of dirt and then bulldoze the dang house! I have cried for 2 days and was seriously so upset that my poor husband didn't know what to do with me! I am better now, sorta, I am still out my flight and hotel! the pool is sorta better ( not leaking and the pool guy will finish it next week) So, all you market goers, I am so sad I am not there to party there with you! Have fun and I will see you in the Spring!

I promised I would post this as soon as it came in and its IN! Authentic by Sweetwater (moda) arrived today. In fact I didn't even open all of the boxes, a few of my regular customers that come in almost everyday unloaded it for me! Thanks! If you love celery, creme, & blacks this is your line! It is really a great line and we have lots of patterns to go with it.

Cute Reptiles!!!

For those of you who have been waiting for Heather Baileys turtle pincushion pattern.....It's Here!!!!! It really is so cute, you won't be able to make just one. The options are limitless! We should be receiving our shipment this week of all her great wool felt colors, I can hardly wait!! I have picked out several turtle colors already, and a couple of the girls have already started their collection of reptiles!

McGruff the Crime Dog, where are you!1

Okay, so I had a cute wall quilt hanging in the bathroom at the shop, and some heinous person decided to steal it, STEAL IT I said. So I am venting on here. I wished I could be all kind and soft spoken and say something nice, BUT, we all know I am not that way! So to the person who stole it~I truly hope you don't poop for a month or longer, and I hope the quilt falls apart
