Okay, how cute is this? Tom finally finished Shelby's sewing table. (Thanks honey:)! Now maybe we can get all of her (mine too!) fabric out of the kitchen. I am feeling really disorganized, ( a state I live in frequently). Shelby is following in my footsteps with her love of fabric, and with both of us with the same hobby we might have to get a bigger house, (just kidding ~Tom) or sew faster! Its still in the middle of the kitchen it will be moving to Shelby's old room as soon as I get it painted!! Now we will have 2 sewing rooms! do you think we will be able to contain all of our fabric?

The elves have been busy!!!

Oh my, the elves have been really busy at the shop this week!! We have been cutting, sewing, and wrapping like crazy! Why so early? Well, we are getting ready for our "Christmas Open House" Its Friday and Saturday November 20 & 21. We have so many new fun things designed exclusively by the Material Girls elves you are going to love it! All kitted and ready for you to create! Lots of great gift ideas, and a great way to start your Holiday Season!! Its a going to be a Jingle Bell time! So gather up your elves and load up the sleigh! Its Party time:)

Designer wool felt is here:)!!!!!!!!!!!

These are just a few of the yummy wool felt colors that arrived in today. We received about 40 bolts of luscious, fantastic colors. We can hardly wait to see what you come up with to make out of this. I want some of every color! Hurry in these will go fast!!

Chaos or .....Creativity?

Okay, first let me state that I love that Shelby my daughter sews! I have a sewing room downstairs but it is small and I really don't like her using it. So for the past few weeks we have been sewing at the kitchen table, (since I don't cook, we don't need it to eat at it) but, she has decided to move her fabric out there also. UGH! this is what I came home to, deep breathe! The green thing on the floor is a sewing table I bought her (that my darling husband is taking his sweet time on!) Now, I know the "where women create" will probably want to come have a photo shoot here (please call first!). My dream is to have a studio like Monica at Happy Zombie or Ann at Bunny Hill, but until Shelby gets a handle on this it ain't gonna happen! We are moving her to the basemnet as we speak....Wish me luck!!

Is that Donny?

Okay, I have been meaning to post this for about 2 weeks, Camille & Bonnie (yes, that would be the mother/daughter duo of Cotton Way & Thimble Blossoms) went to see Donny in Vegas. without me:( Or at least I thought I wasn't going (but, darn that Camille and Bonnie they let me tag along on there mother/daughter outing) So here are the pic's they took of me and Donny! Gosh, look at the way he looks at me! I think he really likes me:) Well a girl can dream can't she:) Thanks so much girls, it was fun! can't wait till we go on an outing in Utah!
