...Hello. My name is Camille and I'm an addict. <br />I became addicted to stitching when I was eight and wouldn't leave my poor mom alone while she was working on an embroidery project. The one she was doing was an incredibly difficult pattern for a pillow that matched her handmade quilt. But, she stopped what she was doing and found an apple pattern that I could do and patiently waited while I asked the million questions that eventually came up. I know she did it to get me out of her hair, but I have loved it since. I was just a kid. Probably mom taught me. I remember working on a kit that was all kinds of flowers, on a loosely woven background. One of the flowers had a "turkey stitch" center. I don't think I ever finished that one.
