Sweet Ride!!!

Okay, so last year I begged my family for this bike for Mothers Day, I swore that I was going to ride it everyday to and from the shop (which I might add is about a mile or so from my house). Well.....they brought it to the shop and it sat in my classroom for about a month or so and I finally rode it home....I laughed at myself all the way home. I felt kind of silly and probably looked even sillier. So starting June 1 I have vowed to my family once again I will pedal my chubby butt to and from the shop! So, if you see me honk and wave....., I probably won't be able to wave back in case I wreck but I will ring my bell at you! (you have to admit that is one cute bike!) Notice I am giving myself a few days till I take my pedal vow serious.

Pedal faster!!!

  6. You may have to pack a few extra muffins in the basket around your latte so it doesn't spill. Oh wait are you giving up those calories too?

  7. Hey you-
All you have to do is decorate the spokes with ric-rac, add a quilted Dr.Pepper cozy and you're good to go!!
    (I'm not kidding)
I'll give you until Friday and then I'll be there to check it out...

  9. The bike is adorable. You know, it would be great advertisement for your shop if people saw you riding your bike to and from. You might become famous for it! You could change your logo to your cute bike with fat quarters in the basket, or bolts of fabric. You could start a whole new trend.....get an award for going green.....the possibilities are endless! You would never have to worry about rain either, because it barely rains.....you go girl!

  15. We can ring our bells at each other! I recently started bicycling around my neighborhood with my bike trailer + kids in tow. Sometimes we make it up to the library (2.7 miles from my house, according to Google maps). Monday we were there and as I rode by your shop I did some "window shopping". I haven't quite figured out how to come in and really shop with two kids and a huge bike trailer parked outside! Hmmm, I wonder if it's illegal to leave my kids in the bicycle while I shop...
