Day 2 of the Giveaways.

Okay day 2 is another fun giveaway!!  Today we are giving away a Taza jelly roll from Dena's Designs.  This has been such a popular line of fabric at the shop.  So, lets get started to enter YOU MUST BE A FOLLOWER of our blog.  Second you have to tell me if you have ever used a jelly roll and what you made, or if you haven't tell me what you would make.  Easy Peasy!!  I will announce a winner tomorrow and a new giveaway!

  3. I made a 9 patch with my "Three Sisters" Jelly Roll it was my first Jelly Roll... What Fun!! If only I can decide what I want to back it with.. I am thinking Minky sounds cozy :)

  4. I have never worked with Jelly Roll fabric. However, with two new grandbabies I can assure you a Jelly Roll quilt is in their near future!

  24. I love following your blog! I have never used a jelly roll, which is silly, because it's the only pre-cut I haven't used. I would like to make the floor pillows I saw on Moda Bake Shop though, so I would use it for that.

    I have 2 jelly rolls here, but have not used them yet. I bought a book recently- "jelly rolls, layer cakes and charms" which will give me some inspiration but not until after the holidays.

  35. Hi, I'm a follower and I have even shopped at your store in "real" life!! :) Thanks for the giveaway!! I haven't ever used a jelly roll. I have used a layer cake. I would love to try a few different kinds of quilts?? Maybe a nine patch? See I have to do some research because I wouldn't know where to start but hopefully I am lucky and I will have to figure it out.

  37. I have never used jelly rolls I am newbie with all stuff but have sewn for years.I would make something for my Mom whos recovering from lung surgery.I would then know what jelly rolls are and what and how much material is in them.Thanks for chance to win.!

  40. I am a Follower, and yes I have made a quilt out of a jelly roll. It was one where you cut the pieces and follow the instructions. I made it out of bright flowered prints and love the way it turned out.

  41. I have never used a jelly roll. I cut and cut those strips for a rail quilt I haven't assembled yet. I would definitely try to make TWO rail quilts! SO CUTE.

  51. I buy yardage and I cut my strips so believe it or not, I've never used a Jelly Roll (but I've used lots and lots of charm squares and layer cakes! But I would surely go buy a fun pattern to use when I win!!!

  52. Thanks for the lovely giveaway. I would make a quilt - this would be my first jelly roll quilt - possibly an I-spy type of quilt where Taza would be the outside of the square, and maybe some fussy cut for the inside. Would make 2.5 inch the proportions for everything.... or would use as a frame for a dozen stitcheries that need to be a quilt. Think it would be for a grandniece that I owe a baby quilt.... I am a follower too

  53. I LOVE Jelly rolls! They are so fun to work with! I used one on my first large quilt for my dad for christmas a few years ago. It was perfect for a stacked coin quilt!
