Day 9 & 10 Giveaway!!

Okay, finally I am getting a little caught up.  Okay so today and tomorrows giveaway is for a Layer Cake of Little Apples by Aneela Hoey.  Super cute!!  Okay, so you know the drill YOU MUST BE A FOLLWER OF OUR BLOG!!  Then tell me what you would make with this!  Thats it!!  I will announce the winner on Saturday.  And post the last giveaway then too!!

  2. I'm a follower. I would probably make a very simple quilt with this one. I love the larger prints on her fabrics. Plus I never actually bought any of her Little Apples. This would be welcome in my stash!

    I was informed yesterday that my cousin and his wife are expecting May 7th. I would design a baby quilt for their impending arrival! And maybe a little something with the leftovers for me, too. ☺

  4. this is just adorable! I am a follower. I'd use it to make a cover for my machine, actually. I don't think I could bear to cut up the cuteness, so I'd keep the panels, and have small sashing between, maybe?

  35. I would make the whole thing into giant half square triangles and put it together in an hourglass quilt. Those prints are too cute to cut up too small!

  40. What adorable fabric. I would probably first cut out a few little designs, like the rind around the rosies, and use them to embellish something like bibs or pajama tops. I think they would be really cute in a frame for my daughter's room, too. When After choosing a couple of those I'd try to use the rest of the layer cake to make a little quilt.

  49. I would take the 5x5 alphabet letters I have been saving for "something" and use the material you provide in between the alphabet letters. I would then take it to work where I teach K-5 special ed. I would use it as a teaching tool,hanging it on the wall for the K/1's to learn/reinforce their letters and sounds! Love the children on the fabric! Miss Myia

Or, I would make one of Aneela's designs perhaps with some stitchery. Or, would pull a layer cake design from Moda Bake Shop. Wow! So many choices for a quilt.   72. I love the Little Apples fabric line--- and if I were to win the layer cake, I would use it to make a play quilt for my first grandchild, Clarabel. She's 7 months old and is very attracted to the color "red", so I know that she would love it! I'm thinking, like so many others, that I would use the larger charms "as is"-- I think that Clarabel would love to look at the adorable children on the fabric. :-)

  80. I love the colors & prints, I think my great nephew would look nice on a baby quilt made of this fabric. Especially if I used some of the fabric on some little oneseis. Maybe cut on the bias and sewn around the bottom of the sleeves or around the legs. Maybe chevrons on the sleeves.

  81. I would make ... a child sized throw probably. For one of the Little Apples "of my eye". Namely little Clarabel my great Niece. The bright red would surely catch her eye :)
