Saving for a Rainy Day

I have never been good at saving money. EVER! My mom would tell me all the time "save your money for a rainy day" Well, I grew up in Oregon, and it rains everyday or almost. My thinking was "what? save my money and miss this fantastic sale" SERIOUSLY? (Which would explain where Shelby gets her spending habits.) (Thank goodness my hubby saves for both of us!) Well, all that is going to change (wink, wink) I bought this cute piggy bank at Target! She is so dang cute, I practically had to run down the isle with her because Ashley my friend wanted her, she has been to several Targets today searching for my pigs twin sister. When I showed Tom he looked at it and said "what's it for?" I told him I was going to save money and he seriously was flabbergasted! (Really, honey I am serious about this!) I am having some vinyl lettering cut to say "Quilt Money" for her sides. I am really not sure if I will ever fill her, but at least my thought process is heading there. Well, I am off to add the $1.00 bill I found in the washer to Miss Piggy!
