AllStar 2 by Riley Blake is here!!

Wow, lots of you have been asking when the "AllStar2" by Riley Blake would be here!!  Well ask no more my friends, IT'S HERE!!!  Blue's, oranges, browns and green are the perfect colors for any little  boys room.  Big polka dots, paisley's and so much more.  This is a really fun line, and yes, we have the entire line!  You need to stop by and see it!   It is so Cute!

Wordplay

I fell in love with this quilt at Market.  Barbara Jones "Quilt Soup" designed the pattern.  The quilt is called "Social Networking" & the line of fabric is by Michelle D'Amore called "Wordplay"  It is creme, light green, black, and brown.  This is a match made in heaven, Barbara has designed the perfect pattern for this fabric line.  We have a limited supply of kits so call the shop and reserve yours!!

Okay, I heart this fabric in both colorways!!  It is so fun & funky and makes you happy just looking at it!  I have created about 50 bijillion things in my head today.  Every time I walked by it today I would holler out to the girls "wouldn't this make a cute....,  I think they got sick of me saying it!  It really is something you need to come in and see!!

A cute headband

Shelby is doing a demonstration on "Embellishing" this Saturday Sept 25th from 12-5pm.  at Nordstrom Brass Plum (Fashion Place Mall)  She will be showing how to embellish T-shirts, cardigans, headbands and a whole lot more.  (This is just a few pictures I had.)  she has come up with lots of fun, funky designs that you are going to love! 
 One of our most favoritest patterns at the shop is by our cute Jaymie of "Sassypants" she created a baby/toddler pattern last year embellishing baby T's and it is still is a top seller!  Embellishing seems to be the "in" thing!!
So, if you are at the mall this weekend be sure and stop by and say hi!  Let her know you read our blog!

This new line from My Minds Eye "Lovebirds"  is fun, & flirty!  The colors, reds, greens, and aqua'a could actually cross over to your holiday creations.  It  just screams at me to create a new girly skirt by "Pink Fig" or maybe Heather Bailey's "Saturday Market Bag".  Oh the possibilities are endless!!  This line has great dots and cirlcles and we all know how I love my dots!!    Be sure and stop by the shop, we have the entire line just waiting for you to create your work of art!

Pumpkin Shortage?!

Yummy pumpkin pie

Who would have thunk it??  I went to the grocery store today ( I am home sick and decided to try and run a few errands)  I thought I would pick up a couple of cans of pumpkin.  The entire shelf was empty!!  What the heck? this is "Harmons" they always keep their shelves stocked!  So, I loaded my groceries, get home and put them away and turn on the TV to catch the last of my talk show and they say "Shortage on canned pumpkin"  Oh no!! No pumpkin chocolate chip cookies!!  So, ladies if you are out and about pick up your canned pumpkin if you come across it!!  The rumor is true!
Just thought I would share that with you!

Amy Butler's new book!

I love all of the projects in this book!

I love when we get new books in at the shop.  I study every picture, and then stick post it notes on the pages of the projects I want to make.   The new book from Amy Butler "Style Stitches" arrived at the shop last week and it is Fantastic!  We love Amy's patterns and fabric at the shop!!  I have dropped a lot of hints at the shop for someone to make me something out of here, but so far no takers.   
I guess I better put this on the list of "to-do's"  Stop in the shop to get your book, you won't be sorry!

Bliss arrives!!!

It's here! It's here!!  Our UPS driver brought us 21 boxes of "Bliss"  by cute mother daughter duo "Bonnie & Camille" Our favorite peeps!  It's  red & aqua and who doesn't  love that!!  I have seen so many cute things made from this line!!   I am giddy,  i keep touching it and hollering out what I am going to make, so far I have about a dozen projects I have called for the shop!!  We have all the pre-cuts and loads of the yardage!!  Come see what we have made up already!!

Finally, a giveaway!!!

I am so sorry that this has taken so long for me to post!!  I really haven't been a slacker.  I am so behind on projects, deadlines and life in general.  I am hoping with school back in session that I can get back to a schedule, (like that will ever happen with teenagers!)  This post will be kind of wordy and long, I have so much to catch you up on!!  First off, we have so many new lines in we are busting at the seams, I am about ready to ask the Karate Studio next door if we can knock out the wall and start adding fabric!!  Second, our "Fall Open House" is this weekend!!  Sept 10th and 11th.  We will have lots of new quilts up and our new class schedule will be out!   So be sure and mark your calenders to attend this fun wild event!!  We will be having door prizes and games galore!!
