I have never received a grab bag of scrap fabrics, but did get a grab bag of cross stitch books and supplies. It was pretty good. I was able to use most everything.

Im a follower! I love grabbags! Other peoples scraps are so much fun! The last one I tried to buy from an etsy seller who flaked on half of my order. After a lengthy convo and then nothing for weeks I had to dispute it with etsy and paypal. I won and was reimbursed. I really wanted thatgrab bag though :o(

Hmm... the only grab bag I've ever bought/gotten was a bag of ribbon from Hancock Fabrics. I used some for a taggie ball (you know, like those taggie blankets for babies?) but other than that... I don't like any of them. :-/

Oh, and I've done the grab bags at the dollar store. What a random way to spend a dollar.

I'm a follower! I've done a sort of grab bag purchase before (I believe it was from the Fat Quarter shop, with surprise fat quarters). They were very unique but they were all based around the color white, which I don't use too often in my quilting. Still, it was fun!

My only experience with grab bags is when I was little. I don't even remember where we would get them, but I remember every once in awhile we would be out running errands with my Mom and she would let us get a grab bag, they usually had candy and little toys in them and we thought they were so much fun.

A grab bag of trims and buttons would be so much fun!

I LOVE the grab bags. In fact, I was telling Shelby that as she made one up the other day. I definitely get fabric I wouldn't have purchased myself, and then of course fall in love with it! They're also great for scrappy projects, last Christmas I made a Nook holder for a co-worker with just fabric made from the grab bag! LOVE them!

I have never gotten a grab bag, but I love the idea. I love random fabric to do little projects. I hope I win. :)

I remember when Mom let us walk to the corner store all by ourselves, just us three kids. What a treat, quarters in hand, the feeling of freedom rushing through our veins! I always chose a grab bag for 50cents. It didn't really matter what candies were in it, I loved the freedom from having to choose which candies to buy, the anticipation as I paid for my little brown paper grab bag, and that huge smile on my face as I waited 'just til the corner' to open it up and dive in! Thanks for the great memory jog!

I am a follower, and the only grab bag experience I've had is when I was little we would go into the Hello Kitty store and get to choose a grab bag there. It was the best. I don't know why I'm not brave enough to try one now, but maybe I could win one?!!

When we were little kids we would always go to the "sidewalk sale" in my Grandma's home town. One year, the drug store had grab bags, and my sister, my two cousins, and I all bought one. We opened them and found earrings, lipglosses, crayons, and all kinds of treasures... except for my one cousin. She got a home permanent kit and antacids. We thought it was hilarious- of course, she didn't!

I got a grab bag once that was loaded with enough scraps to make four quilts, patchwork and strips! I made a few of the quilts for charity causes so I wasn't the only winner. I quilt, sew and scrapbook and I can use these goodies for lots of new ideas!

The best part about the grab bag is that I don't have to pick out my fabric! There are always so many cute prints to choose from, and I can never decide. With a grab bag, the choosing is done for me! Thanks for the giveaways!!!
