TaDa! Creations: Nursing Cover {Tutorial}

Nursing Cover Tutorial

Not a day goes by where we aren't asked "Do you have a pattern for a nursing cover?" We used to carry a pattern, but they became available for free all over the internet. Since then we have directed everyone to "Google" it on the internet. Some look at us as if we have lost our minds, (which in most cases we truly have) so, after searching a whole bunch of "tutorials" I decided to link you to this one
at Ta Da Creations. The link is posted above this post because I am challenged and couldn't get it to work!!
Enjoy!

Big Shot Scalloped Circle Quilt

Remember my obsession with the Big Shot Die machine? Well this is my latest quilt I have to start, It's made with the scalloped circle dies (small, medium, & large) A couple (Chris, Ashley & Jamie) of my friends made them a while ago but of course I wasn't going to start another quilt. Well, I am breaking down, I have had several come through the shop and I have fallen in love. I am not sure who made the pattern or if there even is one but it is about a 6-7 inch background fabric and then you stack the 3 scalloped circles on top of each other and raw edge applique. Cute doesn't begin to describe how adorable these are. I haven't decided what fabric to use yet, Hmmmm...., maybe the new Lakehouse Doll Dresses. I'll keep you posted with my progress!! You can buy your machine through a local Stampin Up rep.
I am off to cut with my machine:)

PS. Rumor has it that FreeSpirit Fabric is going to be partnering with Sizzix, girls, get your machine you will love it!!!

Random Ramblings!

I have been feeling really behind lately, you know the feeling your list of to~do's is longer than your page your writing them on!! I do it to myself, or most of it anyway. I am always in a hurry with really no place to be. I will admit I might be a little ADD, and I have been known to talk alot or so some tell me, (ME? talk alot?) I can't stand dead air so I feel I must fill it with my cheerful musings plus, I always have something to say, and I do think I am pretty funny! I have been really busy sewing this past week, so far I have finished: A tablerunner, a wallhanging, a quilt, helped Shelby with a quilt, and have 2 more to finish!! Sheesh, just typing all that made me tired!! My new office/sewing room number 2 is almost picture ready! I will post pictures of all my finished projects next week along with the big unveiling of my craft room.
See ya later:)

I done my best!

I have been meaning to post this for a couple of weeks and haven't gotten around to it. When I first started stitching one of my "Favorite" pattern designers was "i done my best" by Saundra White. I anxiously awaited anything new she would come out with. Then she decided to pursue other things,(sad face for me!) I am quite sure she thought I was stalking her because, everytime I ran into her I would beg her to re-release her patterns. (I even ran into her daughter and her daughters friends and begged them to get her to do them.) Well, I guess my persistence paid off..., because she has 4 new patterns!! Yahoo!!
Happy Stitching!
