It's here!!!  Lori Holts new line Polka Dot Stitches is in the HOUSE!!!!  It might be my favorite so far,  even though I say this with every one of her lines.  I haven't cut my personal stash yet but I plan on doing it tonight!!  I can't wait to see what her new patterns are like, I am sure they are fabulous as always!!  When we were opening the boxes people were buying it before we even had a s chance to check it in.  We have the entire line so hurry in and get yours today!!!  Trust me it is FANTABULOUS!!!  You are going to want a piece of it all!!

Please don't hate me but, would you look at what I found this weekend!!!!  I feel like I won the lottery! I have wanted an old sofa like this for a long time.  I was cruising through the classifieds and came upon this gem!  Called the lady and told her we had a home for her if she was still available, and lucky me she was.  She is a little worn in spots, a a few holes but her structure is sturdy.  I just discovered Fiber and Fire  a fantastic company that re-covers and sells furniture, and plan on contacting them to see what they can do with her.  We are going to be putting a few pieces of theirs in the shop so stay tuned they are fabulous!!  I want everything that they do.  So first thing Monday, I will be making a call to them to see about a makeover for her:)

Oh Sweet Sadie Boutique

I love a good boutique!!  If you are like me and never hear about the good ones till the last minute then its too late to go.  So here you go peeps!!  Oh Sweet Sadie is an awesome boutique that I NEVER miss!  It is being held Friday Sept. 7 and Saturday Sept. 8 from 10 am - 8pm.  with over 80 vendors there is sure to be something for everyone.  The address is: Soda Row at Daybreak ~ 11259 Kestrel Rise Road ~ South Jordan, Utah.  It is so much fun!!  Hope you can make it!!

Paper piecing tutorial from Quilt Story

Love the girls over at Quilt Story.  They are two sisters that have a love for sewing and anything crafty I first met them in my shop and fell in love with them and al of  their projects.  Then they became these big blogging, pattern designing superstars!  Everything they do is so cute and fun!!  I came across Heathers paper piecing tutorial and asked her if we could share it with all of you.  Paper Piecing Tutorial 
I am loving all the paper pieced blocks out there and can't wait to try Heathers method.  I am left handed and tend to want to do things backwards.  Her tutorial is very detailed so I am sure she has created a lot of new paper piecers out there.  They also have a block of the month they are doing on their blog so you might want to check that out too!!
